The South Carolina Coast Guard along with local law enforcement agencies have increased efforts to protect people on the water with the upcoming July 4th weekend. This effort is being termed Operation Dry Water and will focus on individuals boating under the influence. This is basically a DUI on the water. This upcoming event is sponsored by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators.
